Adults Cooking Package: 3 X 2 hour sessions

Session 1 - 6.03.2017

w) Kaffir Lime leaves & Fragrant Herb Garnish (child friendly)

We make the curry paste ourselves from scratch so you will gain great understanding of how complex aromas and flavours are made and the significance of balance. Each herb and spice plays an important role. With this knowledge, you will build confidence in balancing flavours for any type of sauce/curry. Served with fragrant Jasmine rice. A great introduction to Thai inspired cooking for your family.

Session 2 - 20.03.2017

wrapped in Spec w) Parsnip puree & Green Beans

We learn all about trussing the meat and capturing all the flavour and moisture inside. We also cover the process of caramelisation and how that enhances the taste and creates depth in your cooking. This is a simple dish that looks and tastes impressive so perfect for dinner parties too. Your kids will respond with "Better than a restaurant" when you cook this at home!

Session 3 - 27.03.2017

Baked w) Tomato, Olives + Wine & Crispy Hasselback Potatoes

En papillote is a french term meaning that fish is baked in a parcel. It is a process where the flavours of the fish, herbs, garlic and vegetables release their juices to make an aromatic textured sauce with all the elements of a beautiful stock. The moment when you open the parcel and the fragrant steam wafts up to your nose is a true highlight. The kids will love fish done this way! Served with a 'must learn' potato dish.
